Social media star “Famouss Richard” arrested after argument in Bayonne QuickCheck parking lot

An aspiring rapper and social media star who allegedly pointed a gun at two people in the parking lot of a QuickCheck in Bayonne on July 4 was arrested last week.

Police said they arrested Richard Sharp, known as “Famouss Richard,” at his Isabella Avenue home on July 12 after investigating the incident.

According to police, Sharp pointed the gun at the victims during an argument in the parking lot of the 22nd Street QuickCheck. He then fled the area in his car.

During the arrest, police said a handgun with a high-capacity magazine was seized from Sharp’s home.

After processing, Sharp was taken to the Hudson County Corrections and Rehabilitation Center, according to police.
