Fort Worth, Texas SWAT situation: Woman arrested, police say

FORT WORTH, Texas — A woman was arrested after SWAT responded to a report of her threatening a man at an apartment in Fort Worth, police said.

The incident happened around 6 pm Wednesday in the 100 block of St. Donovan Street, near White Settlement Road and University Drive, according to a police news release.

Police said officers were dispatched on a report of a person with a weapon. When they arrived, they found that a woman had threatened to cut a man she was in a relationship with, police said.

She then barricaded herself inside the home and refused to come out. SWAT officers responded and were able to “breach the residence” and take the woman into custody, police said.

More information was not released. The woman’s name has not been released.
