49-year-old Maywood man injured in Lewis County accident

On July 17, 2024, at approximately 8:15 p.m., a single-vehicle accident occurred on Maple Avenue, three miles south of Durham. It involved a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Brandon N. Geiser, 49, of Maywood, Missouri.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the vehicle was traveling southbound when it left the left side of the road and struck the ground. The Chevrolet Silverado was totaled and was towed from the scene by Robert’s Garage.

Brandon N. Geiser, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, suffered serious injuries. He was transported by Lewis County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital for medical treatment.

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department and the Lewis County R4 Fire Department responded to the scene.
