In Gonda district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, carriages of the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express overturned after the train derailed from the tracks.

The number of people injured in the accident is not yet known.

Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered the immediate dispatch of rescue and relief workers to the scene of the accident, the Prime Minister’s Office said.
