Officers found the man and blocked his car with patrol cars. After speaking with him, he allegedly got back into his car and attempted to back into one of the police cars.

After ramming one of the cars, he reportedly drove through the desert onto Van Giesen Street. An officer performed a PIT maneuver, after which he got out and ran away, where he was eventually tasered and taken into custody.

According to WRPD, the man was booked into the Benton County Jail for assaulting an officer, evading arrest and resisting arrest.
