3 Los Angeles residents arrested after retail thefts in Lake Elsinore and Eastvale – Press Enterprise

Three Los Angeles residents were arrested Tuesday after two retail thefts in Eastvale and Lake Elsinore, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement released Wednesday, May 8.

On Tuesday, May 7, at 2:56 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported theft at a store located at 18000 Collier Avenue in Lake Elsinore. According to the sheriff’s press release, the suspects entered the store and began stealing “high value” merchandise; They fled the store, driving a red Hyundai Elantra.

Officers found the vehicle traveling northbound on the 15 Freeway and were able to stop it through a traffic stop, arresting the driver, Delvin Bell, 34, and two passengers, both 16 years old, the sheriff’s news release said.

All three suspects are Los Angeles residents, officials said.

Bell was arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of grand larceny, organized retail theft and felony child endangerment, officials said.

Officers found more than $7,700 worth of stolen merchandise in the suspect’s vehicle, including items recovered from a theft in Lake Elsinore and another in Eastvale earlier in the day, Wednesday’s statement said.

Information about the relationship between Bell and the two teens, if known, was not immediately made available.
