Josh Allen Would Make This Sacrifice for a Buffalo Bills Victory

Buffalo Bills fans love their star quarterback, and apparently, their star quarterback loves them back.

The star QB in question, Josh Allen, recently appeared on an episode of the Barstool Sports podcast Forgive my opinionDuring an interview alongside Blake Griffin, hosts Dan “Big Cat” Katz and PFT Commenter asked Allen if he would be willing to sacrifice the rest of his career in exchange for the Bills winning the Super Bowl.

Without hesitation, Allen answered the question thus:

As much as Bills fans crave a Super Bowl win, I imagine they’d prefer to have Allen at center when it happens. Allen is a homegrown star, having been selected by the Bills with the seventh overall pick in the 2018 draft.

He’s already third in Bills franchise history in passing yards and passing touchdowns in fewer than 100 career games, trailing only franchise legends Jim Kelly and Joe Ferguson in both categories.

Allen completely embraced the people and culture of Buffalo during his time in the NFL, and in return, he earned the love and admiration of the Bills mob.

Another part of this answer that I loved: Allen said he would sacrifice himself for The pit if it guaranteed the Bills a Super Bowl victory. The pit refers to the construction site (currently, little more than a hole in the ground) of the Bills’ future stadium, and a few fans have been brave enough to climb (or fall) into the hole during the 2023 season.

Allen is willing to allow The pit to claim it in order to secure a title, and if that doesn’t show his dedication to Buffalo, I don’t know if anything will.
