Rape: 23-year-old woman raped, followed and attacked | Bhopal News

Bhopal: A 23-year-old woman was raped by a man running a small shop in Shahpura. The accused stalked her and harassed her for about a year. The woman had enough of this and reported the incident to the police on Tuesday evening. Police said that the survivor stated in her complaint that the accused met her in January 2022, befriended her and took her to his friend’s residence where he raped her. He recorded her video using a smartphone and started blackmailing her to engage in physical intercourse with him and threatened to share the video on social media. Police said the accused physically exploited her for about a year. The woman had enough of his harassment and reported the incident to the police. Investigations are on. tnn
