Amber Alert: Missing 2-year-old kidnapped at gunpoint in Kansas

KANSAS CTIY, Missouri – An Amber Alert has been issued for a 2-year-old from Kansas.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation said Jaxon Hailey and his mother were forcibly abducted by a suspect at gunpoint around 1:30 p.m.

Jaxon and his mother were taken to Missouri, where they were dropped off at Loose Park, 5200 Wornall Road.

The suspect, identified as Darryl Livingston Jr., kept the boy.

According to authorities, Livingston is armed and considered very dangerous.

Livingston was last seen in a silver 2016 Kia Forte with temporary license plate 018JA6.

According to the KBI, Livingston told Jaxon’s mother that he would kill her and the child.

He was last seen driving near Wyandotte Street and W Meyer Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri.

Anyone who sees Jaxon is asked to call 911.
