Muskogee police search for man who shot two people sitting in a parked car, killing one | News

MUSKOGEE, Oklahoma – Muskogee police need your help finding the man who shot two people sitting in a parked car, killing one of them.

FOX23 reported that Muskogee police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead and a woman injured Wednesday morning.

FOX23 spoke with Muskogee Police Officer Lynn Hamlin Wednesday afternoon about the case and how you can help.

Police said officers responded to a shooting call near South Junction Street and Denver Street around 1:30 a.m.

Officers found two people in a car with numerous gunshot wounds.

Reon D. Bell, 38, was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

Hamlin said Bell died shortly after arriving at the hospital.

A woman was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are not releasing her identity at this time.

“At this time, her injuries are not life-threatening,” Hamlin said.
