Marburger Atlanta Antiques and Design Fair
When: July 17-20

Details: Head to this Texas hotspot, coming to Atlanta for the first time, to discover vintage furniture, art and home decor ideas from over 60 top brands and designers. Pieces will range from mid-century antiques to art deco rarities to modern and continental art, with designs inspired by multiple continents.

Titanic: an immersive journey
When: From July 19th
Or: Atlanta Art Center, Doraville
Cost: $30+
Details: Experience the Titanic on dry land with reconstructions of the ships original rooms, period artifacts and 3D animations and videos. The trip also includes a virtual reality tour of the wreck site, so visitors can put on their goggles and be transported two and a half kilometers under the ocean. The experience lasts between 60 and 90 minutes and is suitable for all ages.

The Atlanta Open
When: July 20-28

Cost: Ticket prices vary depending on the match
Details: Catch the Atlanta Open finals at the Pinnacle Lot at Atlanta Station for exciting matches. Venus Williams plays Sloane Stephens on the 21st, and John Isner and Andy Roddic take on the Bryan Brothers in a doubles match on the 22nd. Tickets are available for individual sessions, but die-hard tennis fans can purchase week-long ticket packages to guarantee the same seat for every match.

Janet Jackson: The Together Again Tour
When: July 21

Cost: $70+
Details: Janet Jackson is extending her Together Again Tour from last year, this time with special guest Nelly. Celebrate her 50th birthday with hits from her three most popular albums: The velvet rope, Janet, And Nation of Rhythm 1814.

Atlanta Peach Festival
When: July 21
Or: Peachtree Center, Downtown
Cost: $95+
Details: This Peachtree Center festival celebrates all things peach, with bites from several restaurants, including Banshee, Wrecking Bar, Bread & Butterfly, and Estrellita, as well as peaches from Pearson Farm. Be sure to save room for tastings of peach-infused cocktails and beers. The day before Peachfest, the center will also host a free costume contest and peach-themed pup show. So get your dog dressed up in their best peach-themed attire for a chance to win $1,000 and a Kamado Joe Grill.

Sports Corner: Atlanta Home Games

  • Atlanta United has two home games this week, against NYCFC on the 17th and Columbus Crew on the 20th. Info here.
  • THE Braves The St. Louis Cardinals will play a six-game home series, followed by the Cincinnati Reds from July 19-24 at Truist Park. Info here.
