Northampton Police arrest four people for drug offences and traffic violations

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Four people were arrested during a traffic stop in Northampton Wednesday morning.

According to the Northampton Police Department’s Facebook page, a Northampton Police officer stopped a car on Pleasant Street around 9:35 a.m. for an expired inspection sticker. The officer noticed drug paraphernalia and upon closer inspection found 27.81 grams of cocaine (contraband weight), 5 grams of crack cocaine and 50 bags of heroin.


All four people in the vehicle were arrested and face the following charges:

1. 53 year old man from Holyoke, MA

  • Cocaine, trafficking
  • Medicines, Possesses to distribute Class A, Subsequently
  • Drug, Possession Class B, Subsequent
  • Conspiracy to violate the drug law
  • License suspended, Opera. MV
  • No inspection sticker

2. 44 year old man from Northampton, MA

  • Cocaine, trafficking
  • Medicines, Possesses to distribute Class A, Subsequently
  • Drug, Possession Class B, Subsequent
  • Conspiracy to violate the drug law

3. 58-year-old woman from Northampton, MA

  • Cocaine, trafficking
  • Medicines, Possesses to distribute Class A, Subsequently
  • Drug, Possession Class B, Subsequent
  • Conspiracy to violate the drug law

4. 54-year-old woman from Northampton, MA

  • Cocaine, trafficking
  • Medicines, Possesses to distribute Class A, Subsequently
  • Drug, Possession Class B, Subsequent
  • Conspiracy to violate the drug law
