Sam’s Club employee attacked by mother and 2 daughters

A video is circulating on the Internet showing customers at a Sam’s Club in Henry County, Georgia, attacking an employee of the large retailer.

Accordingly WSB TVCierra Monroe, who works in the supermarket’s cafe, was approached by a mother and her two daughters. They entered the cafe just before closing time on July 10 and wanted to buy two whole pizzas. Monroe said that after telling them it was too late, the mother went into the kitchen and punched her in the face. Video shows the two daughters also attacking the Sam’s Club employee before the mother, Andreana McKnight, was grabbed and arrested by other employees.

McKnight’s daughter Victoria Wilson, 20, was involved in the fight but was taken to hospital because she was pregnant. A warrant is now out for her arrest.

Monroe described the incident.

the cash register, and she comes back into the kitchen, and as she comes into the kitchen she hits me,” Monroe said. “As soon as she hits me, she hits me in the face and then her two daughters come from the front. I wasn’t expecting that at all.”

The first time a customer has attacked an employee at the store. Earlier this week, there was an incident where someone tried to lunge at another person at Sam’s Club. Monroe is calling for the store to be staffed by security from opening to closing to prevent another incident.

“We had an altercation with another customer before and he was escorted out,” she said. “But he was escorted out by the staff. I just feel that we have to ensure safety from opening to closing every day, seven days a week.”

The store said employee safety was its top priority, but gave no guarantees that it would keep workers safe.
