Free summer meals for students

BUFFALO, NY — Free summer meals are now available for students in Western New York.

Free meals are available to all children under the age of 18. They simply need to show up at a site offering the program. Nutritious breakfasts and lunches will be available as part of the program.

The program’s start in Buffalo began with an event at one of the summer meal sites, Cazenovia Park Baseball Diamonds on Warren Spahn Way.

Feeding America estimates that one in five children in New York City suffer from hunger every day.
