All about the allegations of sexual assault and abuse against Irv Gotti

Accordingly BillboardThe lawsuit was filed Thursday by the unidentified woman’s attorney in a Miami-Dade County district court, alleging that the music mogul, whose real name is Irving Domino Lorenzo Jr., raped her multiple times during their two-year relationship between 2020 and 2022 after they met through a mutual friend at a poker tournament in the summer of 2020.

The plaintiff claims that Gotti forced her to have sex after inviting her to vacation in Saint Martin and threatening to send her home if she did not comply with his demands. She then entered into a relationship with him and claims she was continually abused.

In another case, according to Billboard, the woman claims that Gotti forced her to perform oral sex on him in an elevator at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami in January 2022. Later that year, she also mentioned that the music producer forced her to give him oral sex in the back of an Uber in Atlanta. The couple’s relationship ended after that trip.

“As a result of this sexually abusive relationship, the plaintiff suffered severe emotional and psychological harm that required her to be hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital,” the lawsuit states. “These injuries continue and affect the plaintiff to this day.”

The woman’s lawyer, Adriana Alcalde, described the impact this ordeal had on her client.

“She suffered a lot,” said Alcalde Peopleand emphasized how the #MeToo movement has helped the woman and other women raise their voices. “I think women feel a little more empowered now to tell their story.”

Gotti was a prominent figure in the hip hop music scene in the early 2000s, having collaborated with Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Ashanti, Lloyd, DMX and others.

Blavity reported that in 2017 he signed a deal with BET to produce a music series called storiesin which classic hits were woven into visual narratives.
