Following the completion of the investigation, Moffitt was booked into the Garfield County Jail and charged with four counts of sexual exploitation of a child, with charges ranging from third- to fifth-degree felonies.

The ICAC unit uses cutting-edge technology to monitor internet activity and works closely with local and national authorities to catch offenders. Its efforts are also supported by educational initiatives aimed at preventing young people from engaging in online crime.
