Chipper trunk tipped over: Traffic warning on 61 North

A truck overturned in the northbound lane of 61 North, just south of Redwood Road.

At approximately 11:45 a.m., radio traffic reported a single-vehicle accident involving an International Paper chipper truck that overturned in the northbound lane of 61 North, south of Redwood Road. Two people were injured, but based on radio traffic, their injuries are not believed to be serious.

Numerous emergency personnel are on the scene, including Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace and the Warren County Fire Department. Two people are reported to be injured.

Traffic is moving slowly through the area, but if you can avoid the area, please do so. If you must take this route, please allow enough space for emergency responders to perform their duties safely.
