Walnut man arrested after allegedly stealing more than $1,000 worth of merchandise from Walmart

On July 12, Tupelo Police arrested Ronald G. Carmon Jr., 31, of Walnut, on a Lee County District Court warrant for shoplifting.

The charges stem from a 2020 incident in which Carmon allegedly stole more than $1,000 worth of merchandise from Walmart at 2270 West Main Street.

Carmon is currently being held on a $10,000 bond issued by the Lee County District Court.

The case awaits trial in Lee County District Court.
