Police shoot and wound man in Huntington Beach – NBC Los Angeles

On Tuesday evening, police in Huntington Beach shot and injured a man in front of a gas station.

Officers with the Huntington Beach Police Department responded to a call about some type of disturbance near the intersection of Goldenwest Street and Heil Avenue around 11 p.m., according to the department.

When they arrived, a shootout involving an officer occurred and the man was injured. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The man’s condition was initially unclear. Neither other people nor officers were injured in the shooting.
