UPDATE: One dead in shooting in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Pawtucket Police are investigating a homicide that occurred around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Police responded to a report of a shooting and went to the intersection of School and Rosewood Streets where they found an 18-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

The investigation is not yet complete.
