Man shot in city centre after apparent incident of aggression while driving

A man was in stable condition after being shot downtown on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency crews were dispatched to Smithfield Street and Fourth Avenue around 4:15 p.m.
where the victim was found with two gunshot wounds in the arm.

Police said he was apparently shot during a road rage incident that originated on the South Side.
