Man arrested after threatening family with gun in roadside aggression incident on Cape Cod, police say – Boston 25 News

CHATHAM, Massachusetts – A man is facing a number of criminal charges after police say he threatened a family with a gun during an alleged incident of driving aggression on Cape Cod Tuesday afternoon.

Tracy Douse, 42, of St. Johnsbury, Vermont, is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Orleans County Court. The charges, according to Chatham police, include assault with a dangerous weapon, possession of a high-capacity firearm, possession of a high-capacity feeding device, illegal possession of ammunition and disorderly conduct.

Officers responding to a reported incident of driving aggression on Route 28 in West Chatham around 4 p.m. spoke with a man who said he and his family had just been threatened by an armed motorist, police said.

Eventually, the police managed to find the driver in question. Officers identified him as Douse and allegedly found a loaded Glock 19 pistol on him.

Further details were not immediately available.

The investigation is ongoing.
