Attack on Arlington Ridge Road in Green, Ohio

GREEN, Ohio (WJW) – A group of young men and teenagers are now facing charges after being accused of attacking someone while wearing masks near a busy commercial street in Summit County.

According to a sheriff’s press release, officers responded to reports of a fight on Arlington Ridge in the Town of Green around 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 13.

Upon their arrival, officers found an injured 25-year-old man.

According to the press release, witnesses said masked suspects jumped out of vehicles and attacked the victim.

A short time later, officers said they found one of the suspect vehicles and initiated a traffic stop. According to the press release, the suspects were still wearing masks. Officers also said they found a handgun under the seat of the vehicle.

All suspects were arrested and charged with aggravated assault and concealed weapon possession, officials said. The adult suspects were identified as Brandon E. Fisher, 20, of Akron and Tayton J. Coles, 20, of Mansfield.

A 17-year-old boy from Akron and a 15-year-old boy from Akron have also been charged.
