Judge sets bail for man accused of killing Lori teenager

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A murder suspect could soon be released from prison.

A judge set bond at $100,000 for 20-year-old Tre’Shawn Davis on Thursday.

Davis is accused of shooting 19-year-old Mic’kell Grissett on Cheryl Road on Jan. 16. According to police, a second person was also injured in the shooting.

Davis is charged with murder and attempted murder.

Grissett’s family spoke during the bail hearing, asking the judge to have mercy on Davis and forgive him.

When Davis is released from prison, he will be required to undergo GPS monitoring and not possess firearms, according to a judge.
