Built in 1900, Buffalo home sells for over $1 million

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A turn-of-the-century Buffalo residence is the latest million-dollar home sale in Erie County.

Annmarie Maxwell recently sold 70 Oakland Place, Buffalo, for $1.18 million to 70 Oakland LLC, according to documents filed July 11 with the Erie County Clerk’s Office.

The buyer is listed in the filings as Kevin P. Nugent, chief operating officer of Ferguson Electric.

The single-family residence was built in 1900, according to Erie County real estate information. The 3,363-square-foot home has three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and two fireplaces.
