Police: Seven people arrested in Henry County Drug Task Force investigation

HENRY COUNTY, Ind. – Police in Henry County made arrests Monday as part of a months-long drug investigation, authorities said.

Officers with the Henry County Sheriff’s Department and New Castle Police served search warrants for four properties, including locations on Grand Avenue, South 18th Street and A Avenue.

According to the county’s drug task force, police seized 32 firearms, 75 grams of cocaine, marijuana and other controlled substances. Officers also found drug paraphernalia and money.

Authorities said the property owner was arrested on preliminary charges of trafficking cocaine, trafficking in Schedule IV controlled substances, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a public order.

Two other people are charged with cocaine possession and public disturbance, while another person was arrested for cocaine possession. Three other people were arrested on charges of public disturbance.
