Alleged rapist of underage girls arrested in Ephrata | Columbia Basin

EPHRATA – A 40-year-old Ephrata man is facing 10 counts of various sex crimes following his arrest on July 2, according to court documents.

Christopher Malloy is charged with three counts of third-degree rape of a minor, three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of first-degree trafficking in depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct, one count of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes, and commercial sexual abuse of a minor.

An affidavit states that Malloy had sex with three different girls between the ages of 14 and 17 between 2021 and 2024. Court documents also highlight Malloy’s propensity for giving drugs and alcohol to minors with whom he had sex. Some of the allegations against Malloy include cruel sexual acts with the underage girls. Malloy is scheduled to go to trial on July 23, 2024.
