Atlanta police investigating homicide after man found shot to death

The Atlanta Police Department is investigating a homicide, authorities said.

Police said they responded to a call of a gunshot wound in the area of ​​Meador Avenue and Schell Road in southeast Atlanta.

Upon arrival, they found a man who had been hit by several bullets fired by bees. According to police, the man was not alert, conscious and not breathing. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.

The investigation is ongoing.
