Man shot dead in southeast Atlanta, police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Atlanta police say a man was shot and killed in southeast Atlanta on Tuesday.

Police said officers responded to Meador Avenue SE and Schell Road SE in the Lakewood neighborhood. They said they found a man with “apparent gunshot wounds.” The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
