On Tuesday, a man was found dead in his Miami-Dade County home. According to WPLG-TV, Sergio Pino, a well-known South Florida construction contractor, was found dead. A statement from the FBI said Pino’s home was searched as part of an ongoing murder-for-hire investigation that began in the fall of 2023. When Pino’s home was searched, Pino was discovered by the FBI inside the home. He was dead, having apparently sustained a gunshot wound to himself and having died in an upstairs bedroom. An FBI statement said Pino’s home was searched as part of an ongoing murder-for-hire investigation that began in the fall of 2023.

During a raid on Pino’s house, the FBI found him dead in an upstairs bedroom; he had apparently inflicted a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

A raid took place at another location in Miami. One person was arrested during the search.
