Suspected drunk driver arrested after accident that killed teenager

RICHMOND – A 16-year-old boy died early Monday when the vehicle he was backing out of his driveway was struck by a suspected drunken driver who was later arrested, police said.

The teenager was identified by the coroner on Tuesday as Ricardo Funes.

The fatal collision occurred around 12:05 a.m. Monday on Ohio Avenue near South 20th Street, police said.
