RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA (July 16, 2024) – A 65-year-old Riverside man named Antonio Chavez was arrested and charged with sexually abusing at least three children.

Riverside County officials say the suspect was arrested on July 3. Antonio Chavez is the husband of a woman who operates Chavez Family Daycare in a single-family home on Blue Sky Street.

The suspect is accused of sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl and two other children. Police fear there may be more victims.

Antonio Chavez was taken to the Robert Presley Detention Center. He is being held on $1 million bail. The investigation is currently ongoing.
