Phoenix police are investigating after a woman and two men were found dead in a burning Phoenix apartment, authorities said.

The Office of the Medical Examiner will conduct autopsies to determine the cause of death, Phoenix police said in a news release.

Police and firefighters responded to the apartment complex at 13229 S. 48 at around 6:30 a.m. on July 15.th St.

The fire was extinguished and the adults were found. All three showed “obvious signs of trauma unrelated to the fire inside the apartment,” police said.

The Phoenix Fire Department Arson Investigation Unit and the Phoenix Police Department Homicide Unit began an investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness on 480 (WITNESS) or 480 (TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. A reward will be offered for information leading to an arrest, police said.
