Man arrested for forklift theft: Avon police report

AVON, Ohio

On June 17, at 12:35 a.m., a man was arrested for attempting to steal a forklift from the Mercy Health Stadium grounds. The man was taken to the Lorain County Jail.

Menacing, Wendell Street

Police were alerted to a dispute over parked vehicles and a resident who was unable to exit his driveway at 10:42 p.m. on June 24. Both parties told police that obscene language was exchanged during the argument, and both were informed that the incident would be documented and forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review.

Theft, Nagel Road

On June 12 at 9:44 p.m., police arrested a man for theft at a store on Nagel Road.

Attack, Chester Road

Police responded to a report of an assault near an auto parts store at 5:38 p.m. on June 17. No further information was available at the time of the report.

Theft, Nagel Road

Police responded to a reported theft at Meijer on June 27 at 8:30 a.m. and a woman was arrested for the crime.
