TURLOCK, CA (July 16, 2024) – A woman died in a head-on crash on Lander Avenue near Simmons Road.

According to Turlock police, the head-on collision occurred on Lander Avenue near West Simmons Road. For an unknown reason, a woman collided head-on with a semi-truck at around 12:11 p.m. Monday.

Shortly afterwards, paramedics arrived to treat the injured woman, but the woman succumbed to her serious injuries. The driver of the semi-trailer truck only suffered minor injuries in the accident.

At this time, authorities have not disclosed the cause of the accident or released the name of the victim, but as soon as we receive more details, we will post updated information.
