Tarrytown Bridge partially closed after failed inspection

A section of the H-Bridge in Tarrytown is closed today after a failed inspection.

Currently, only westbound traffic is allowed, with the northeast ramp closed until further notice. All eastbound traffic should exit via Beekman Avenue and Sleepy Hollow, village officials said.

Urgent repairs are currently being carried out and authorities say the closed part of the bridge will be reopened as soon as possible.

Motorists are asked to allow for additional travel time and to be aware of ongoing construction work.
