Buffalo set to begin USL League Two playoffs | In today’s Daily Sun | The Villages Daily Sun

The playing field is set and the road to a championship is paved.

The USL League Two playoff bracket was announced Monday and Brave SC, fresh off its second straight Southeast Division title, is among the 35 teams vying for the national championship. Buffalo reached the national semifinals last season before losing to Virginia’s Lionsbridge FC on penalties.

This year’s team will now aim to go even further.

“Everybody’s healthy and everybody’s excited,” Brave SC head coach Anderson DaSilva said. “We still have a good number of players – normally at the end of the season, especially when you have college players, their coaches start calling them back for preseason. This time, we only lost two players. I think this is the first year since we started that we only lost a couple of players for the playoffs.”
