Hampton Bays High School teacher had inappropriate texting relationship with student

A Hampton Bays High School teacher has been charged with a misdemeanor for having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Police said they learned of an inappropriate texting relationship between the two parties on Monday.

News 12 was told there were no allegations of a physical relationship.

Kevin O’Toole, 40, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
