Doral Police Find Missing Baby Safe at Home – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

DORAL, FLA. (WSVN) – A baby reported missing has been found safe and sound, according to Doral police.

Just after 5:15 p.m. on Monday, Doral police officers were dispatched to a CVS store on the corner of Northwest 87th Avenue and 36th Street after a report of a missing baby from a BMW SUV parked in front of the store. When police arrived, officers checked the vehicle’s license plate and noted the registered address.

Officers were dispatched to the car owner’s home, where they found the door open. Inside the apartment, they found the baby alone but in good health.

It is still unclear why the baby was left home alone or why the baby was reported missing in the first place. Officials say no charges are currently being filed against the mother.

The police do not currently have any further information as the investigation is still ongoing.
