Red Dead Redemption finally comes to PC with improved graphics

John, is that you?

You have waited a long time to read these words. Not as long as Blood transfused Fans, but still, Red Dead Redemption on the PC is very welcome.

But we’ve been here before.

As you may remember from the beginning of the year, we were led to believe Red Dead Redemption was switched to the PC after 14 long years of waiting.

Although these speculations seem to have only led to further disappointment, Rockstar Games fans have never given up hope.

It’s time for another round Red Dead Redemption 2 wins and fails!

Your patience is now rewarded in the form of a PS4 emulator.

This is not the first time we have mentioned shadPS4 – we shared the news with you not long ago when we were excited that Blood transfused was finally on the PC and looked better than ever.

Before your hopes reach dangerous heights, ShadPS4 is still in its infancy and we will therefore have to wait even more before we can have experiences like the OG. Red Dead Redemption will be in playable condition.

Still, the fact that it will be available soon and will feature improved graphics is a reason to celebrate.

Even though we would like to play these classics without the help of an emulator at some point, that day is still too far in the future for us to be able to do without using shadPS4.

At the moment, RDR1 can only reach the start menu before the game crashes. However, this is actually progress, even if it doesn’t look like it. As far as we know, no other emulator on the market can offer the remastered version of the game.

Perhaps as fans take greater steps to make a PC port possible, Rockstar will finally reveal plans to port the game itself. We live in hope, as unlikely as it may seem.

The question everyone is asking right now is whether the polished version of the shadPS4 RDR1 will be playable before GTA VI starts…
