The “garbage man” from Geneva County is back

BLACK, Alabama (WTVY) – Trashy Behavior plagues the residents of Black, Alabama.

According to the Geneva County Sheriff’s Office, several trash cans have been vandalized in and around Black in recent weeks.

According to a post on the GCSO’s Facebook page, the destruction was less accidental and more “intentional vandalism.”

While the damaged bins owned by the district are replaced free of charge, the replacement bins are financed from taxpayers’ money.

“(Whoever) does this is causing damage to their vehicle,” the GSCO said in its post.

The sheriff’s office said it plans to install surveillance cameras in several locations in the area in hopes of catching the perpetrator.

If you have any information regarding Garbage Goon, the GCSO asks that you contact your local law enforcement agency.
