Lompoc police arrest man who barricaded himself

LOMPOC, Calif. – Lompoc police arrested a man on July 15 for barricading himself in his ex-girlfriend’s home with a gun despite a restraining order for previous violence.

According to the victim, the 29-year-old man had a knife with him; while he remained in it, the victim was able to leave the house, according to the LPD.

LPD officers arrived at the scene where the man did not come out, and after several hours a SWAT team entered the home to assist in the arrest without him being injured.

The 29-year-old Lompoc resident was arrested on the following charges:

  • 166(c)1pc- Violation of a preliminary injunction
  • 148(a)(1)pc- obstructing/resisting arrest
  • 3455((B)(1)pc- Revocation of parole after release.
