Terrorists attack Muharram gathering in Oman; four dead, several injured

On Tuesday, Omani police reported a shooting outside a mosque in Muscat’s Wadi Kabir district, leaving four people dead and numerous others injured.

According to local reports, an Imam Bargah was attacked by terrorists on Tuesday, leaving four people dead.

The Royal Oman Police released a statement online confirming the incident but did not give a motive or identify any suspects.

Since Oman lies on the eastern border of the Arabian Peninsula, such violent incidents rarely occur there.
