Rape: Two men charged with raping a woman and shooting an obscene clip | Ludhiana News

Times News NetworkLudhiana: Two men allegedly raped a 35-year-old woman and filmed the act at a private hotel. Police registered a theft case and started investigation. The incident took place one and a half months ago but has now been registered on the directions of the Punjab Human Rights Commission. Police claimed that the woman had earlier agreed to a ‘compromise’ with the accused. According to police, one of the accused took the woman to the hotel and raped her on the pretext of marriage. Later, his friend also raped her at the same hotel. The accused are yet to be arrested. The victim told cops that she had befriended one of the accused at the factory where they both worked. She said he took her to a hotel on May 27 where he and his friend undressed her and filmed her, following which they raped her. Police said, ‘The victim had filed several complaints after the incident and later agreed to a compromise with the accused. But now the Punjab Human Rights Commission has directed us to register a case and so we have registered a case of rape at the police station, Section 7.”
