A GoFundMe campaign launched by the Trump campaign to support the victims and families of those shot in Saturday night’s suspected assassination attempt has raised more than $3.5 million from over 50,000 donations.

Among the biggest donors – $50,000 each – are singers Kid Rock and Dana White, who are supporting Donald Trump’s presidential bid. The Heritage Foundation – which coordinated Project 2025, which describes itself as a program for Trump’s second term – also donated $50,000, a foundation spokesman said.

Former Trump rival and current supporter Vivek Ramaswamy and Nicole Shanahan, who is running as vice presidential candidate alongside Robert F. Kennedy Jr., also took part in the election.

In the attack on Saturday in Butler County, Pennsylvania, one person was killed, two others were seriously injured and Trump was slightly injured.

Authorities identified the dead man as Corey Comperatore, 50, a former fire chief who jumped to protect his family, the Associated Press reported. David Dutch, 57, of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, and James Copenhaver, 74, of Moon Township, Pennsylvania, were injured. Both were in stable condition Sunday.

The GoFundMe page states that the campaign was authorized by Trump for the dead and injured and that all donations will “benefit these proud Americans during their grief and recovery.” How the money will be distributed was not specified. A GoFundMe spokesperson confirmed that the campaign had been reviewed.

Andrew Keys of Darma Capital, which focuses on digital asset risk management and blockchain technology, donated $10,000.
