1 dead and 4 injured in traffic accident in Sanpete County

SPRING CITY, Sanpete County — One person was killed in a three-car crash Monday, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

UHP Sergeant Chris Bishop said authorities arrived on Highway 132 just before noon. He said there were four other people with moderate injuries but did not say whether they were taken to the hospital or released at the scene.

According to the Utah Department of Transportation, the southbound lanes of Highway 132 at Highway 117 and the northbound lanes near Pigeon Hollow Road were closed.
