Houston police investigate fatal stabbing on Louisiana street | State

Houston, Texas – Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man found at 2123 Louisiana Street around 6:40 p.m. Saturday.

The victim’s identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, according to a Houston Police Department (HPD) news release. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Montalvo and Detective D. Higgs reported that HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the address and found an unconscious man in an equipment shed at a business. The victim had suffered multiple stab wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the man deceased.
