Part of North and South I-185 closed due to roadwork

COLUMBUS, Georgia (WRBL) – According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, a portion of I-185 in Columbus will be closed this week for concrete pavement repairs.

Both the northbound and southbound lanes of I-185 near Macon Road to Buena Vista Road will be closed from 7:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17.

GDOT would like to remind the public to watch for workers and equipment and to reduce speed when approaching work areas.
