SUTHERLIN MAN HOSPITALIZED AFTER SUNDAY AFTERNOON ACCIDENT – KQEN News Radio

A Sutherlin man was hospitalized following an accident on Sunday.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said shortly after 5:30 p.m., a juvenile driver drove in front of a second vehicle at the intersection of Fort McKay Road and Ashwood Street west of Sutherlin, causing the second driver’s vehicle to strike the side of the first vehicle.

The second driver was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center for headaches. The driver who caused the accident was uninjured. Both vehicles were damaged and had to be towed.
