West Virginia woman dies one week after golf cart crash in Monroe County | Poconos and coal region

MIDDLE SMITH TWP., Pa. – A 35-year-old West Virginia man has died following a golf cart accident in Monroe Co. that occurred a week ago.

The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office reports that Brenna Abbinanti of Mount Clare, West Virginia, was pronounced dead on Friday, July 12. The incident occurred on July 6.

The coroner’s report states Abbinanti was a passenger in a golf cart and fell out during the incident, which occurred in the 6000 block of Timothy Lake Road in Middle Smith Twp.

The Pennsylvania State Police are also investigating.
